19 Fresh COVID Cases Reported In AP
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 April 2020 10:40 AM GMT19 fresh COVID positive cases and two deaths were reported in Andhra Pradesh in the past 12 hours which takes the toll of the positive cases in the state to 502 and deaths of the virus to 11.
The health bulletin issued the Andhra Pradesh Health Department confirmed the same which is a signal of ringing danger bells in the state due to the COVID pandemic.
Out of the 19 new cases, eight cases were reported from West Godavari, followed by Kurnool, Guntur, and Krishna district with six, four and one cases respectively. So far 16 people have completely recovered from the virus while 11 people have lost lives to the dreaded virus.
The good thing is that Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts managed to stay out of the virus and report zero positive cases to date, while Guntur turned out as the hotspot of the virus with reported 118 positive cases of the virus along with four deaths.
"They were admitted to Guntur general hospital and on April 8, both of them tested positive. The younger of the two was shifted to Vijayawada a day later because of other complications. Both of them died on April 13," the bulletin read.
