A deadly road mishap took place near Tadbund at Bowenpally in Hyderabad on Saturday afternoon. A speeding Yamaha FZ Bike carrying Three Students hit the road divider and all of them fell on the other side of the road just when a lorry was passing by. The back tyre of the truck crushed them. While two of them died on spot, the injured person was rushed to the nearby hospital.
Inter Second Year Student R Anirudh (19) and his friend Vishwa chary (20) who is pursuing intermediate first year passed away. Akhil who was driving the two wheeler at the time of accident suffered a leg fracture.
CCTV Footage show that the accident occurred due to rash driving of the youth. None of them were wearing helmets. The trio were returning to their colleges in Secunderabad after attending a family function at Fatehnagar.
A Police Official blames faulty design of the road as another reason. He quotes its difficult to control two-wheelers moving above the speed of 45 kmph in this area. There were incidents of three wheelers getting toppled and two wheelers hitting the divider in the past.
