Rs 200 bribe led to Rajiv Gandhi's Murder

Retired Justice Chandrakumar has recently made sensational remarks on the murder of Rajiv Gandhi. 'A Head Constable took a bribe of Rs 200 to help the LTTE Suicide Bombers who plotted Rajiv Gandhi's assassination,' he said at the National Corruption Prevention Council Meet.
Chandrakumar made such comment to explain the negative impact of corruption on the society. He expressed confidence that bright results could be seen if corruption could be curbed.
On the extent of corruption in Telanagna state, Chandrakumar commented, 'Rs 300 crore was sanctioned for road repairs. 75 percent bills were submitted for 25 percent works. Such is the scale of the corruption,' he revealed.
