In Talk: 2019 Election atmosphere in AP!
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Sep 2017 4:54 PM GMTThere are still 20 Months left for 2019 General Elections. But, Ruling Party & Main Opposition in AP have been already trying everything they can to reach out to people at grassroots level either by anticipating preponement of Polls or just to stay in the good books of Janata.
TDP kickstarted 'Intintiki Telugu Desam' from September 11th. Party Leaders including AP CM Chandrababu Naidu have been attending meetings at the villages. They were aggressively promoting the welfare and development schemes implemented by the Government. In the process, TDP Members have been collecting the feedback on Government Schemes and knowing about the issues to be addressed.
On the other hand, YSR Congress Party is focussing on taking Navaratnalu into the people and influencing as many people as possible to join YSR Kutumbam. YCP Leaders have been highlighting the failures of TDP Government and the poll promises which weren't implemented till date. They were sending the message to people that only the supporters of Ruling Party were receiving the benefits of welfare schemes in the state. YSRC Leaders learnt enough lessons from the failures of Nandyal by-poll & Kakinada municipal polls. They have been working with the sole aim of victory in 2019 General Elections.
