2019 Lok Sabha Polls: 66% Voter Turnout In Phase 2!
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 April 2019 4:35 PM GMTPolling took place in 95 Lok Sabha Constituencies spread across 11 States and the Union Territory Puducherry during the Second Phase of 2019 Lok Sabha Elections on Thursday. Around 66 percent Voter Turnout was confirmed by EC in the Phase 2 by 6 pm.
Polling Percentage in 2019 Lok Sabha Polls Phase 2:
As of 6 PM, 78% in Puducherry, 72% in Tamil nadu, 64% in Odisha, 62.3% in Uttar Pradesh, 61.84% Polling in Karnataka, 62.52% in Bihar, 62% in Maharashtra.
As of 5 PM, 75.27% in West Bengal, 74,69% in Manipur, 73.32% in Assam, 68.70% in Chhattisgarh, 61.80% in Karnataka, 58.14% in Bihar, 57.41% in Odisha, 43.37% in Jammu and Kashmir.
2019 Lok Sabha Polls Second Phase: 38 Seats in Tamil Nadu, 14 Seats in Karnataka, 10 Seats in Maharashtra, 8 in Uttar Pradesh, 5 each in Bihar, Odisha and Assam, 3 each in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh, 2 Seats in Jammu and Kashmir, 1 Seat in Manipur and Puducherry. The fate of around 1,600 contestants in these segments will be decided by nearly 16 crore voters.
Today, Elections happened in 25 Assembly Constituencies in Odisha and By-Polls took place in 18 Assembly Segments in Tamil Nadu.
