Rs 25 crore Brahmin-only Project scam exposed

Yellapragada Prabhakar, a real-estate developer, cheated as many as 1,000 investors in the name of Brahmin Housing Project in Hyderabad.
Reportedly, Prabhakar shelled out crores on newspaper and TV ads to lure Brahmins with widespread publicity for his Brahmin-only Gated Community. Apart from flats, He promised to built a religious school, a marriage hall and a nursing home solely meant for Brahmins in the complex. He also assured them that there will be no access to the complex for non-vegetarians what-so-ever.
These lucrative offers have attracted huge number of Brahmin Community Families. Upon collecting over Rs 25 crore from the investors in the past 2 years, The developer went missing and a police complaint has been lodged. Hyderabad Cops traced Prabhakar and sent him behind the bars.
It is learnt that Yellapragada Prabhakar has been in jail earlier for similar financial crimes. By obtaining bail, He continued to cheat the people in the same fashion.
