3 Indians among Fortune 50 Most Powerful Women

Only Women based outside US were considered for the Fortune's Most Powerful Women list. While Arundhati Bhattacharya is being ranked 2nd, Chanda Kochhar and Shikha Sharma occupy 5th and 19th positions respectively.
Banco Santander's Executive Chairman Ana Botin made it to the Top Spot.
The profile of Arundhati Bhattacharya grew enormously during her tenure as SBI Chairperson. If her plan of SBI's merger with six other groups materializes, The 210-Year-Old Indian Institution would emerge as one of the largest banks in Asia.
