3 Life Sentences For Srinivas Kuchibhotla Killer

Adam Purinton, the US Navy Veteran who killed Indian techie Srinivas Kuchibhotla and wounded two others (Alok Madasani, Ian Grillot) at a Kansas City bar in February 2017, was awarded three consecutive life sentences.
The Accused pleaded guilty in federal court earlier this year. He admitted attacking Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok Madasani due to their race, colour and national origin. Ian Grillot who confronted him was left wounded by the Navy Veteran while attempting to flee the spot.
Court observed that the racial attack on Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok Madasani was done with clear premeditation. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Adam Purinton has done an irreparable harm by cutting short a young man's life.
Srinivas Kuchibhotla's Wife Sunayana Dumala issued a statement saying her husband was always kind, caring and respectful to others. 'Srinu would have helped Purinton understand that not every brown skinned person is evil but is contributing to America's growth. We came to the US with full of dreams and aspirations. Now, My American Dream and that of Srinu's is broken,' she said.
