Surprisingly, Three MLAs with the same name got the opportunity to serve as Ministers in YS Jaganmohan Reddy's Cabinet. All the three Leaders have been in politics for over 15 years.
Kodali Nani got elected as MLA for the fourth time (2 Times on TDP Ticket (2004, 2009), 2 Times on YCP Ticket (2014, 2018)) from Gudiwada Constituency. This segment has become his bastion over the years and most leaders won't even dare to contest against him.
Perni Nani who faced defeat in 2014 Polls got elected as Machilipatnam MLA with a margin of 5,590 votes due to YCP wave.
Alla Nani got elected as Eluru MLA for the third time (2004, 2009 on Congress Ticket, 2019 on YCP Ticket). He defeated TDP Candidate Badeti Bujji by a margin of 4,072 votes.
How many of these three Leaders will be continuing as Ministers for the full 5 years term is going to be a big mystery for now. A lot depends on performance, caste equations and availability of berths after two-and-a-half years.
