On Thursday, Maoists have released all the three TDP Leaders after 10 days of captivity. After holding a Praja Court, They were handed over to Girijan Employees Association Leaders. The Leaders were warned not to get associated with any political party in future. Maoists even asked them to take part in the anti-bauxite mining agitation for the sake of fellow Girijans. The kidnapped TDP Leaders revealed they were taken into the dense forest region.
Post the abduction on last Monday, Maoists demanded AP Government to call off bauxite-mining or else asked it to face dire consequences. They had also given a call asking TDP Leaders and Workers in the agency to quit the ruling party in protest against bauxite mining.
