3967 Fresh COVID-19 Cases Reported In India

The novel coronavirus originated from the Wuhan Province of China continues to trouble India as India has turned out as the fifth nation in the world to report the most number of new cases.
In addition to that, 3,967 fresh cases reported in India in the past 24 hours taking the toll of the positive cases in the country to 81,970. From the past 4-5 days, India is reporting more than 3,000 continuously.
On the other hand, 100 lives were claimed in India in the past 24 hours which takes the toll of the total fatalities to 2,649 raising many fears and concerns. The active cases in India stood at 51,401 with over 27,920 people managed to recover from the fatal virus.
Talking about the states that have the most number of positive cases, Maharashtra tops the list with 27,524 cases as more than 1,600 cases were reported in the state in the past 24 hours.
Tamil Nadu surpassed Gujarat and turned out as the second worst-hit state in the country in terms of positive cases with 9,674 followed by Delhi with 7,233 and Rajasthan with 4,534 cases.
