Four YSRC MLAs & One MLC join TDP
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Feb 2016 9:11 AM ISTYS Jaganmohan Reddy received the shock of his life on Monday night. As many as four of YSR Congress MLAs and one MLC resigned to the party and joined ruling TDP in the presence of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
The defectors include Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagireddy, his daughter & Allagadda MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya, Jammalamadugu MLA Adinarayana Reddy, his elder brother and MLC Narayana Reddy and Vijayawada West MLA Jaleel Khan.
All of these public representatives met Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Vijayawada last night. After holding discussions with AP CM, They addressed the media to confirm their shift to TDP Camp. They told the decision was taken keeping the development of their constituencies in mind and expressed faith in Naidu's leadership.
On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu pacified TDP Leaders who opposed the entry of YSR Congress MLAs into the party by assuring they will be given due importance in the party.
