40,000 People for Ayuta Chandi Yagam

Telangana Government have extended invitation to 40,000 people for the prestigious Ayuta Chandi Yagam which is meant to worship Goddess Durga in the best interest of the people.
Between the period 7 AM to 12.30 PM, Veda Pundits will be chanting 700 mantras 10,000 times. This procedure continues for five days in a row.
State Government has invited 1,500 ritviks from seven States to perform Ayuta Chandi Yagam. Out of them, About 1,100 Pundits will chant mantras combinedly at each homagundam. Bhajans and Harikathas will be happening in the evening.
Nearly 150 Cooks from Chennur in Adilabad will be taking part in food preparation for the guests & priests.
Sringeri Peetham was given full powers to plan & organize Ayuta Chandi Yagam successfully. Even Telangana Chief Minister don't have a say in this matter.
