After series of discussions finally KCR had cleared the file related to financial assistance of Telangana martyrs families. As part of the elections campaign KCR was assured to provide financial assistance to all the families who given their life during Telangana agitation.
Fulfilling his promise KCR had granted 46.2 crore towards financial assistance for families of those who laid down their lives for separate Telangana state. As part of this defined rules each martyrs family will be compensated by 10lakhs and which will be awarded in respective districts soon. KCR assured the remaining martyrs also be recognized by collector in the respective areas.
After forming the government TRS party in June it started process to ful fill its promises. Considering this The state cabinet in July decided to fulfill the poll promise to help the families of the martyrs.
