56 Fresh COVID-19 Cases Reported In Andhra Pradesh
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 May 2020 7:44 AM GMTThe positive cases of the novel coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh are increasing rapidly as 56 fresh cases were reported in the state in the past 24 hours. With this, the positive cases in the state reached 1833.
The state Health Department issued a health bulletin in this regard and confirmed the same. As of now 780 members recovered from the fatal virus taking the toll of the active cases to 1015.
38 have succumbed to the virus to date in the state. 8,087 samples were tested in the state in the past 24 hours and 56 out of them tested positive for the virus. Krishna district reported 16 cases and Guntur reported 10 cases while Kurnool and Visakha reported seven cases each.
On the other hand, Nellore reported 4 cases and Kadapa reported 6 cases, while Anantapur and Vizianagaram districts reported 3 cases each. Kurnool tops the list of districts with the most number of cases with 540 followed by Guntur and Krishna districts with 373 and 316 cases respectively.
