TDP received a big blow in the form of defection of its Amalapuram MP Ravindra Babu into YCP. Pro-TDP Media tried to cover the damage with the theory that he quit the party for MLA Ticket.
According to the media reports in circulation, Ravindra Babu contemplated on contesting Assembly Polls but TDP Leadership wishes to field Ravindra Babu as MP Candidate. This is why the Sitting MP preferred YSR Congress Party.
