Upon obtaining U Certificate for his upcoming flick PM Narendra Modi, Actor Vivek Oberoi slammed Bollywood Film Fraternity for not supporting his movie when it faced release hurdles. 'Many Bollywood Stars would compete for selfies with PM Narendra Modi. Posing for selfies isn't enough, They should stay supportive of the Modi Biopic. This is when the whole Film Industry need to remain united. When a film face any hurdles, We should support it collectively,' he opined.
Vivek Oberoi dared to say, 'Around 600 Artistes in the Hindu Film Industry doesn't want Narendra Modi to retain power. That is why nobody has come in support of Modi biopic. They keep talking about other issues but show double standards when a film is facing hurdles'.

Omung Kumar who had earlier directed 'Mary Kom' and 'Sarabjit' bankrolled this project. Vivek Oberoi who played the lead will appear in 9 different get-ups of Narendra Modi. The film shows the rise of Modi from the stage of a tea seller to prime minister. Censor Board disapproved 11 controversial scenes in the biopic.
