As many as 70 Doctors and Medical Students who are named as accused in Vyapam scam seeked the nod of President Pranab Mukherjee to kill themselves as their future is in dark. All of them have been lodged in Gwalior Central Jail since months and they signed the letter during the court hearings.

Citing the few Vyapam scam accused facing similar charges were granted bail, The Medicos complained that they are just victims of judicial disparity due to which their families are suffering for long. They even bring to the notice the deteriorating economic condition and psychological issues prompting them to commit suicide.

Copies of the letter sent to President of India were also been forwarded to PMO, Chief Justice of India, National Human Rights Commission, Madhya Pradesh High Court and Union Home Minister.

Few weeks ago, Five Medical Students in Gwalior made a similar appeal to President alleging ill-treatment in the college by management & fellow students inspite of obtaining clean chit in Vyapam scam.
