Prime Minister Narendra Modi opined traditional methods followed to measure jobs isn't good enough to measure jobs creation by the Indian Economy. He told, 'Economy was in worse shape when NDA formed the government in 2014. I am even suspicious about few budget figures quoted by the UPA Government'.

Modi claimed more than a lack of jobs were created because of the policies of his government. He, however, feels lack of appropriate data on jobs and Opponents taking advantage of it is the real issue.

PM informed 70 lakh per year jobs were created in Highways, Railways, Airlines and Housing. He told, 'A Survey by an International Agency confirmed poverty has come down in India. How could it be possible without creation of employment? States like Karnataka and West Bengal has declared 53 lakh and 68 lakh jobs were created in a period of 5 years'.

NaMo claimed credit for India moving 30 places ahead to break into Top 100 when it comes to Ease Of Doing Business. He aims to ensure farmers get minimum support price of 1.5 times their cost and double their income by 2022.
