71 New COVID-19 Reported In AP, Toll Reaches 1403
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 April 2020 6:39 AM GMTAndhra Pradesh reports 71 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours which takes the toll of the novel coronavirus in the state to 1403. To date, 31 have succumbed to the fatal virus.
Out of the 71 new cases, 43 cases were reported in Kurnool followed by Krishna district with 10 cases. Guntur and Kadapa reported four cases each, while Ananthapur and Chittoor districts witnessed three cases each and the East Godavari district reported 2 cases.
321 patients have managed to recover from the virus and were discharged from the hospitals accordingly. The total count of the active cases in Andhra Pradesh stood at 1051.
In the past 24 hours 6497 samples were tested for the virus and out of them, 71 were tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. 34 members were discharged from the hospitals in the last 24 hours. The good news is that no fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours.
