Following the deadly outbreak of Covid-19, the death toll is getting up day by day. The death count of people who lost their lives to the deadly virus has now reached 11 with a 65-year-old man breathing his last breath in Mumbai.

Going into details, a 65-year-old died at the Kasturba hospital in Mumbai with the virus taking the death count to 11 in the country. India went to lock down with more than 30 states and Union Territories calling for the same in the wake of the virus.

The patient was also suffering from pre-existing ailments, including high blood pressure and severe diabetes, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said in a statement.

"Twelve coronavirus patients have now tested negative for the infection. They were being treated at various civic-run hospitals here for last some days," said Daksha Shah, deputy director of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) health department.
