A Portion Of TSRTC Buses Resumed Its Operations
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Sep 2020 8:54 AM GMTFollowing the Telangana government led by Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao giving a green signal, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) resumed its operations.
TSRTC buses hit the roads after a long gap of six months. TSRTC operations were suspended with the Coronavirus outbreak followed by a series of Lockdown.
There are 2,800 buses in 29 depots within the Greater Hyderabad limits. It is believed that only 25 percent of these buses resumed their operations.
As a precautionary measure, all the buses that resumed operations were sprayed with disinfected liquids. Other measures like pasting papers on the windshield were also done.
Inter-state services between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states are yet to begin as AP didn't agree to Telangana's demand to cut down the number of kilometers run by AP buses.
