In this regard, the State of the World's Nursing 2020 report was released which states that there is a need for creating 6 million new nursing jobs so that the health sector can sustain.
This report was developed by the World Health Organisation(WHO) in collaboration with the International Council of Nurses and the global Nursing Now campaign which has found out that there is a shortage of nurses worldwide.
The report also suggests that this is the high time for all the nations to invest more in the areas of nursing, education, faculty, and infrastructure. The WHO has dedicated the world health day to the medical staff and nursing staff who have been rendering services since the outbreak of the virus.
The lack of medical staff is very evident in the countries tat as low and middle income which becomes the main obstacle in strengthening the health sector in the nations.
Nurses should be provided with a prominent role in the formulation of health policies so that they don't get the feeling of kept aside.
