Criminal-minded MLA Surrenders Before Cops

At last, Aam Admi Party MLA Somnath Bharti surrendered at a police station in New Delhi on Monday evening after the Supreme Court rejected his anticipatory bail.
Apparently, Lipika Mitra (Wife of Somnath Bharti) filed a domestic violence and attempt to murder case against her Husband. She even mentioned in her complaint that Somanth Bharti used to harass her by loosening his dog on her at times.
Delhi High Court turned down Somnath Bharti's anticipatory bail plea citing the documentary proof against him to prove that he is guilty of harassing his wife. Later, The MLA approached Supreme Court for a relief but the Bench on Monday asked the public representative to surrender before the police first to consider his plea of granting bail on October 1st. Somnath Bharti who is absconding since few days with the help of two criminals to evade arrest surrendered at a police station within hours after the court ruling.
