Abhinandan Gets Grand Welcome From Colleagues
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 May 2019 8:30 AM GMTIndian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman met his colleagues in Jammu and Kashmir months after he was captured by the Pakistan Army. He received a grand welcome from colleagues and they were really excited to click photographs with him.
Abhinandan Varthaman told all these photographs aren't for his Colleagues but their Families who prayed for his health.
On February 27th, Abhinandan Varthaman was held captive by the Pakistan Army. He returned to India through the Wagah-Attari border on March 1st. He was sent on leave for 4 weeks and his medical tests were performed during that phase.
Few days ago, Indian Air Force transferred Abhinandan Varthaman considering the threat he faces from Jaish-e-Mohammed which is behind the Pulwama Terror Attack on February 26th. He will be now on duty outside Srinagar, to a location which ensures his safety.
