Abu Jundal conspired to kill Narendra Modi

Mumbai's Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) Court on Thursday convicted Lashkar-e-Taiba operative and 26/11 mastermind Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal and 11 Others in the 2006 Aurangabad Arms Haul case. About 10 Others were acquitted has no evidence was found against them.
The MCOCA Court told Abu Jundal & other Accused chalked out a conspiracy for assassination of then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and VHP Leader Pravin Togadia after 2002 Gujarat riots. Agenda behind the murder plot is to create panic situation and terror in the minds of people in the name of Jihad.
Abu Jundal has been named as accused in cases related to 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks in 2008, Pune's German Bakery Blast in 2010 and plotted Nashik Terror Attacks. He is a native of Beed district in Maharashtra. In 2012, He was arrested in Saudi Arabia and deported to India.
