Adults who abuse Parents can be thrown out: HC

The HC maintained that Adults who abuse their Parents can be evicted from the House as long as they are in legal possession of the property. House needn't be owned by the Parents to evict abusive sons and daughters.
Justice Manmohan told Senior Citizens Maintenance Tribunal have the powers to issue an eviction order to help Senior Citizens live peacefully in their House. High Court directed Delhi Government to amend the rules framed under Section 32 and Section 22(2) to protect the life and properly of Senior Citizens living in rented accommodation as well.
The latest ruling was given in connection with a case involving Parents & their Two Sons. This Judgement clears the gap in the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 (MWPSCA) Law which asked State Governments to frame rules for the protection of Senior Citizens.
