Cash-for-vote: ACB cops at CM'S residence
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Aug 2015 9:54 AM GMTThe 'cash for vote' case is come to fore again. According to some reports from media houses , two Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials were spotted at AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's residence at 8:30pm on Tuesday.
Police constables reportedly went to Naidu's residence in order to question CM son Lokesh's car driver Kondal Reddy in connection with the cash-for-vote scam. The driver was not available at the home and the cops had gone to party office.Kondal Reddy is likely to be questioned on Wednesday.
Telangana TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and the party state youth wing leader Jimmi Babu so far managed to give the ACB the slip.
Meanwhile the ACB has also formed a special team in order to nab Jimmi Babu who played a key role in the episode. On May 31, TDP's Telangana MLA A Revanth Reddy was caught allegedly offering Rs 50 lakh cash to Stephenson as an advance in exchange for his vote in favour of TDP candidate in the legislative council (MLC) elections held on June 1.
