ACB Raids in AP Secretariat

ACB Raids in the new Secretariat built at Velagapudi has brought a disgrace to the TDP Government. It only exposed the level of corruption among the Government Officials.
Gujarat-based Santan Ganguly has been operating a security agency 'Shiva Industrial Security'. He supplies private security to private firms and banks in Hyderabad.
Post the bifurcation, Santan Ganguly planned to take necessary permissions from the TDP Government to carry out the operations in the Seemandhra as well. Home Ministry's Section Officer Kothavarapu Srinath demanded Rs 50,000 for offering the permissions. Mr.Ganguly passed the information to Anti-Corruption Bureau. A trap was laid by the ACB using the old Rs 500 notes and caught him red handed.
In the past two-and-a-half years, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu hasn't taken stern action on his party MLAs and Ministers despite many corruption allegations. This soft-corner for party men eventually sent a wrong indication to the public.
