The power crisis is giving sleepless nights to people across the states as many plants were hit by a shortage in coal supply. The power crisis is not faced by just common people. Even celebrities and rich people are facing a power crisis. No one knows when the existing coal supply will finish and if the same happens, many states will have to face dark knights due as many states are dependent on thermal energy.

Forget about others, even Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not an exemption from this. His wife Sakshi Dhoni took to Twitter to raise her voice against the power crisis in Dhoni's home state Jharkhand. She said that the power crisis has been prevalent in the state for many years and asked why it is happening.

Saying that she is asking this as she is a taxpayer and she wants to know an answer to this. Talking about the efforts she is doing to deal with the power crisis, Sakshi said she is saving energy.

"As a tax payer of Jharkhand just want to know why is there a power crisis in Jharkhand since so many years ? We are doing our part by consciously making sure we save energy !" Sakshi said in a tweet.

It has been a trend or style that cricketers stay away from politics or politics-related issues. Barring a few, the cricket fraternity has always been staying away from the political spectrum. But things are changing rapidly. A few former bowlers have already tried their luck in Assembly and Parliament elections. Gautam Gambhir is currently serving as an MP.

Not just that, wives of cricketers are also coming forward to raise their voices on various issues. When Indian speedster Mohammed Shami was brutally trolled when India lost a match to Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, the wives of a few cricketers extended their support to Shami.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi dated for a few years and decided to take their relationship to the next level. In a private ceremony, the couple tied the knot in 2010. The couple was blessed with a girl child who was named Ziva.
