BJP Welcomes This Woman Abuser With Open Arms

In its hurry to roll out the red carpet to anyone wishing to join, the BJP seems to be losing its sense of balance. The leaders seem to be in an undue haste to admit people without even checking their antecedents. The party wants to grow into a credible opposition to the ruling YSRCP and in this attempt, it has opened the gates for fair-weather politicians to join the BJP.
Recently, party state president Kanna Lakshminarayana warmly welcomed a young leader names Koti. He personally wrapped a stole around Koti and praised him to skies. This Koti is an accused in a case harassing women. Koti was once a personal assistant of Lakshmi Parvathi and had alleged that Lakshmi Parvathi was sending him lewd messages. Later, inquiry showed that this was patently false. He had admitted then that he did this due to allurements doled out by Lakshmi Parvathi's opponents. Eyebrows are bound to be raised when such questionable people are welcomed into the party with open arms. There is an outrage on the social media over the way in which Koti was welcomed into the BJP. Interestingly, Kanna Lakshminarayana himself has welcomed him and wrapped the party stole around his shoulders.
Even the loyal party workers are raising questions about Koti's joining. They are pointing out that such joinings could ruin the BJP and could prove counter-productive. They are saying that such joining are difficult to defend. Some have already written to the national leadership of the party for guidance.
