However, Prakash Raj clarified he has been misquoted by media. The Actor questioned, 'Am I such a fool to return the National Awards which was offered for my body of work and which make me so proud?'.
Gauri Lankesh who believed in secularism and criticized right-wing ideology was shot dead at her residence in Bengaluru. Still, The people involved in the brutal murder haven't been nabbed by the cops.
Prakash Raj asked how could PM Modi follow the Twitter Handles of those people who celebrate Gauri Lankesh's murder. He said, 'I am disturbed, hurt and afraid of the silence of PM. You get the doubt whether Yogi Adityanath is UP CM or a Temple Priest. These people are bigger actors than me. I feel like giving my National Awards to them'.
