Actually, Vijayashanti believes Congress should contest alone in the upcoming Assembly Polls. She questioned, 'What is the use of Grand Alliance or Alliance with other Parties?'. Few AICC Leaders have swung into action to make her realize that it's better to fight collectively against TRS which looks so strong. She was instructed not to express any of her objections in the presence of media.
Ramulamma unsuccessfully contested from Medak Assembly Constituency on Congress Ticket in 2014 Elections. She might be fearing that seat sharing deal between parties of Mahakutami could prove costly for her. Either Vijayashanti might be denied desired seat or even ticket if such a situation arise.
