By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Oct 2022 8:34 AM GMTThe anti-Hijab protests in Iran are not stopping and the protests are getting momentum. In recent times, we did not see women hitting the roads in big numbers to fight for their rights. The protesting women are not fearing security forces that are cracking down on the protests.
The protests turned even more intense after a young girl was reportedly killed. The 20-year-old girl took an active part in the protests and the forces reportedly killing her added fuel to the ongoing protests and the protests are aggressively taking forward the protest. The protests grabbed everyone's attention and global personalities also supported the protest.
After global star Priyanka Chopra extended her support to the protest, another actress said she is with the protests and to stand in solidarity with the protestors, she stripped her dress. Her post became a sensation in social media.
Actress Elnaaz Norouzi who shot to super fame with the Sacred Games series supported the protest and shared a video. In the video, she started removing multiple dresses he wore and said the woman has the choice to decide what they wear. From Hijab to Punjabi dress to the western dress she wore many dresses and she wore two-piece in the last.
The actress sends a strong message that it is a woman's body and the right to decide what she can wear also lies with her and no one can counter that. This is an intense reply to the moral police in Iran which has turned problematic for women.
Elnaaz Norouzi has a personal connection with the protests as she has a bonding with the country. She was born in Iran and spent a few years there before moving to Germany. As her family lived in Irian, she has a better understanding of how the moral police work there.
With the same, Iranian-born actress Elnaaz Norouzi decided to stand in solidarity with the sisters from Iran and support them in the protest. The shocking thing is that the government is not ready to take a back step on this. To show Iran's stand on this, a popular US Journalist was reportedly asked to wear a hijab to interview President Ebrahim Raisi.
