Adani to invest Rs 60K crore in Andhra Pradesh

Adani group chairperson Gautham Adani has entered into an MoU with the AP Government to invest in two green energy projects. The MoUs were signed by Ashish Rajvamshi on behalf of the Adanis and by special principal secretary of Industries Karikal Valavan on behalf of the AP Government.
The Adani group has come forward to invest up to Rs 60000 crore. This will be part of the initiative aimed at achieving sustainable development through a carbon emission free enterprise. As part of this, two mega green energy projects would be set up. The Pump Storage Hydro project would be of 3700 megawatt capacity, while the other project would be of 10000 megawatt capacity.
Similarly, Tech Mahindra has come forward to develop Vizag as the technology hub. This will provide employment to 10000 persons. This was announced by Tech Mahindra CEO MD CP Gurnani. He met AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and announced that the company has decided to set up an ethanol unit at a cost of Rs 250 crore.
Dassault Systems has shown interest in making investments in the education sector. Jagan has also discussed the setting up of smart ports, new energy resource-based companies and other issues with Dassault’s executive vice-president Florence Worthlense. Jagan also met International shipping barron Takashi Hashimoto.
