Adivasis Declare Self-Rule In Telangana

The movement launched by Adivasis demanding expulsion of Lambadas from Scheduled Tribes (ST) seems to have reached final stage. They have gone to the extent of launching non-cooperation with Lambada Government Staff in Districts such as Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam and Warangal from June 1st, 2018.
Traditional Drums known as Thudum will be played post May 31st midnight. From next month, Adivasis won't be allowing Lambada Government Staff into their villages. This is their way of declaring Self Rule.
Adivasi Hakkula Porata Samiti Telangana President Soyam Bapurao accused Lambada Officials of ignoring Adivasis Welfare and Lambada Teachers of refusing to teach Adivasi Children. While confirming Self Rule in Gudems from June 1st, He told any such discrimination willn't be tolerated anymore.
