Family Meets Kulbhushan Jadhav After 22 Months

Former Indian Navy Officer Kulbhushan Jadhav was detained by Pakistan in March 2016. After 22 Months, Jadhav's Wife and Mother were permitted to meet him Today in Pakistan on humanitarian grounds.
A Glass Barrier between Kulbhushan Jadhav & his Family Members separated them during the meeting and it was arranged due to security reasons. No physical contact was permitted during the meeting in Islamabad. A 10 minutes extension was given on the request of Jadhav's Family. The meeting lasted for close to 30 minutes.
Post the meeting, Pakistan's Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Mohammad Faisal called Kulbhushan Jadhav an Indian spy and terrorist. He described him as the face of Indian terror in Pakistan. 'Kulbhushan Jadhav is a serving Naval Officer. He confessed serving as RAW Agent and killing Aslam Chaudhary apart from many Pakistanis. He is gonna face death penalty. This day was chosen for the meeting as Today happens to be Jinnah's birthday which is a special occasion,' he said.
Kulbhushan Jadhav's Family returned to India soon after the meeting. Huge security force was deployed for the safety of the two women in Jadhav's Family.
Whereas, India condemned the allegations of Pakistan on Kulbhushan Jadhav. It says, Jadhav was abducted by Pakistan Forces in Iran where he holds business.
