After Anti-National, BJP Finds New Phrase to call Opponents!
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 July 2022 8:34 AM GMTEveryone knows that its pro-Hindu ideology made wonders for the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2104 Lok Sabha polls. The Hindu community which saw the BJP as the saviour of its beliefs voted for the party and the trend is still continuing.
All the party leaders irrespective of their post, be it Ministers, MLAs, Central Ministers, or Chief Ministers openly flaunt their Hindutva ideology. Out of all the leaders, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stands alone. Being a saint, Yogi Adityanath is active in politics and took Bharatiya Janata Party towards victory in two consecutive terms.
Forget about all these leaders, even the Prime Minister shows his love for his religion. Whenever any construction of a project is started, Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes part in Hindu rituals to unveil the project. We have seen how the Lions on the parliament building created a big uproar.
The saffron party also started a new trend and anyone who questions the party or the decisions taken by it will become anti-national. The BJP leaders use the phrase very often and even in debates, when someone questions PM Modi, the BJP leaders openly ask them to go to Pakistan.
As PM Modi inaugurating the Lions on the Parliament building which is under construction state with Hindu rituals gave birth to a big controversy, people from various sections are raising their concerns about the same.
Senior Journalist Siddharth Varadarajan, one of the founding editors of the digital news portal The Wire also joined the row and asked if everyone who is ok with Pm Modi inaugurating the national emblem with Hindu rituals will react in a similar way if Mohammad Hamid Ansari would have been the Vice President and the emblem was started with Muslim rituals.
This did not go well with the BJP State General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Vishnu Vardhan Reddy. Calling the senior journalist a resident of America, the BJP leader asked why the journalist is showing interest in the internal matters of India.
The question here is, do the BJP leaders think they are the real Indians and those who question them will become foreigners and residents of other nations. Done with anti-nations, it looks like BJP found a new term to call opponents.
