The concept of jail is to punish the convicts and make them work in the jail. The money they earn during the jail term will be returned to them after completion of the term. All the inmates will be accorded jobs based on their knowledge and capabilities. Strong inmates will be given heavy work.

It is known that veteran cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu was sent to jail by the Supreme Court in connection with a road rage case. Holding former Chief of Congress for Punjab state Navjot Singh Sidhu was slapped with a jail term. Recently, he sought special food on the grounds of his medical condition.

Now the news is that Navjot Singh Sidhu will serve as the clerk at the Patiala Central Jail and will be placed under training for three months. After the training, he will work as a clerk. However, the training period will be unpaid training for Sidhu. Once he finishes the training and gets to learn things, he will start earning.

The skills and capabilities of Navjot Singh Sidhu will decide the wages of Sidhu. The pay scale is that the clerks will get between Rs 40 to 90 every day. If he shows high skills, he might get the total pay and the pay might get clashed if he shows minimal skills. Once Navjot Singh Sidhu starts earning, the wages will be deposited into his bank account directly.

Navjot Singh Sidhu was a cricketer in the past and impressed the fans and cricket lovers with his stroke play. Later, he turned into a judge for comedy shows and stand-up shows. He shot to big fame with Comedy Nights with Kapil show. He had a long interaction with the show and he used to bring laughter to the show.

Cricketer and judge of a show and now he is working as a clerk at the Patiala Court. It has been widely reported that his training period has started and he will be doing the work from his room. Special security has been provided to the ex-cricketer and he will learn how to maintain the court records in his work.
