Hours after Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD) leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal returned his Padma Vibhushan award as a protest against the Union government's farm bills, one more leader returned his award.

To stand in solidarity with the farmers who are protesting against the farm bills, Shiromani Akali Dal (Democratic) supremo and Rajya Sabha member Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa returned his Padma Bhushan award.

The Rajya Sabha MP is the second leader from Punjab to return his award to protest giants the controversial farm bill trio passed by the union government.

"I returned my Padma Bhushan award to protest against the Central government, which is not listening to the farmers who are stating protest for over two months," ANI quoted the MP.

He said, his son has also taken part in the agitation staged by the farmers. If the Union government won't take back the farm bills, the protests will get intensified

The farmer's agitation against the controversial farm bills is getting bigger and bigger with each day passing. From leaders to sportspersons, personalities across the fields are extending their support to the protests.

Ace sportspersons and coaches have extended their support to the farmers. They have announced to march to the national capitals along with the farmers on December 5.
