After Nag, KCR targets another T-Town Biggie!
By: Tupaki Desk | 13 July 2014 6:50 AM GMTTRS Government is leaving no stone unturned to get back the unused and encroached government lands in Hyderabad. After targeting Akkineni Nagarjuna in N-Convention Centre issue, The guns have been pointed at veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao.
During the period 1983-1999, State Government has allotted several acres of land to members in the Industry for setting up Film Studios or Recording Studios. While some of them kept a portion of the land unused, few others even dared to use them as commercial purposes.
Reportedly, K Raghavendra Rao was allotted half an acre of land at Banjara Hills Road No.2 to build recording studio. Violating the norms, The director has built a commercial establishment (Cinemax) in this place.
Hyderabad Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena informed KRR's land will be reclaimed though there willn't be any penalty. He said notices will be issued to the filmmaker with in 10 days.
