After Opposition, Women's Rights Body Is After Gorantla Madhav!
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Aug 2022 12:53 PM GMTThere is no relief for Hindupur YCP MP Gorantla Madhav. Ever since his alleged personal video came out, he has been facing the music from various corners. The opposition parties are not leaving Gorantla Madhav and the ruling party on the sensational allegation.
Despite the cops saying that the video could be a morphed one, the criticism is not stopping and everyone is targeting him. After the cops said that the video is not an original one, many thought that the issue is settled and the ruling party MP got a big relief as far as the controversy is concerned.
Proving the opinion wrong, Gorantla Madhav has another issue to worry about. Making it tough for the MP, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has stepped in and asked the police to look into the matter and probe the controversy.
As per the media reports, National Commission for Women (NCW) Chairperson Rekha Sharma sent a letter to the state DGP in this regard seeking a serious probe by the cops. Not just the probe, the NCW also asked the cops to submit a detailed report after probing the matter.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) won't leave the matters related to women no matter what the issue is. As the MP's controversy made the body feel that it is objectionable to women, she has written a letter to the DGP. We have to wait and see what the commission will do here.
