Ahead Of Dubbak Polls, Key BJP Leader Resigns

The BJP received a jolt at a time when it has plunged headlong into the election battle in Dubbak as its prominent face and party's spokesperson Ravula Sridhar Reddy has resigned from the party. He has sent his resignation to the party president on Sunday morning. He is likely to join the TRS along with his supporters and followers.
Reddy is considered to be a close camp follower of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy. He had contested as the BJP candidate in 2018 assembly elections from Jubilee Hills constituency. For the past some times, he has been upset with the state leadership for not being given any post of importance. In the new state committee, he has not been given any post. He has not even been continued as the party spokesperson.
He is said to be unhappy with party's organising secretary Mantri Srinivasulu, who he blames as the chief reason for his growing unimportance in the party. His resignation at this state is likely to have negative impact on the party in the upcoming GHMC elections. He has worked hard in places like Jubilee Hills for building up of the party.
