Ahead of Festive season Centre's new guidelines for States!

As part of the precautionary measures, the Centre issued a few directives to the state governments.
Keeping the upcoming festival season in mind, the Union government advised the state governments to keep a detailed eye on the infections and the way the infections are getting doubled. Asking the governments to aim at curbing the cases, the Centre said that if needed they can go for the local restrictions.
As the Omicron cases in the country are heading towards the 300-mark, the Centre advised the state governments to be vigilant and asked the governments to impose strict guidelines in the places where people gather in big numbers.
With the festival season fast approaching and Christmas and New Year are just days away, there are a lot of concerns about the virus spread. On the same lines, the Centre advised the states to take all the required safety measures.
Besides this, the Centre also asked the state governments to raise awareness in public on the vaccinations and urged the governments to administer vaccine doses for the beneficiaries.
