Ahead Of The Nizamabad MLC By-Poll, 24 Voters Catch Coronavirus

The authorities said, to see that, the 24 elected representatives who contacted the virus get an opportunity to cast their votes, a postal ballot has been arranged and they can vote between 4 pm to 5 pm.
The MLC by-poll of Nizamabad will be held tomorrow between 9 am to 5 pm. The election results will be declared, three days after the polls, i.e, October 12.
All the arrangements, including making hand wash, face masks, and sanitizers available at the polling centers have been made by the authorities for the MLC by-polls.
This by-poll turned interesting with former MP, TRS leader Kavitha contesting the polls from TRS, while V Subhash Reddy and P Laxminarayana and contesting the polls from Congress and BJP respectively.
The MLC seat became vacant after the state Legislative Council Chairman disqualifying the sitting member R Bhoopathi Reddy for floating into another party.
