Pic Of The Day: Jayalalithaa's Chair at AIADMK Meeting!

AIADMK Council Meeting was held at Vanagaram to elect Sasikala Natarajan as party's General Secretary on Thursday. The wooden chair used by former CM J Jayalalithaa at her Poes Garden Residence was brought to the venue 'Srivari Venkatachalapathi Marriage Hall' where the meeting was organized. A portrait of Amma was placed in the chair and floral tributes were paid.
The chair was covered by a green velvet cloth. Not a surprise because, Green is the favorite color of Jayalalithaa.
In the previous Council Meetings, Jayalalithaa and only one or two party leaders used to be seated on the dais. This time, Several senior leaders could be seen on the dais along with the portrait.
