Air Asia Flight Vanishes Mid Air

As per reports Air Asia flight traveling from Indonesia to Singapore lost contact with air traffic control on early hours of Sunday. According to reports Flight QZ8501 lost contact with Jakarta air traffic control.There was no Indian nationals on board.
It was officially confirmed by Air Asia and their Facebook page reads: AirAsia Indonesia regrets to confirm that flight QZ8501 from Surabaya to Singapore has lost contact with air traffic control at 0724hrs on Sunday morning. At the present time we unfortunately have no further information regarding the status of the passengers and crew members on board, but we will keep all parties informed as more information becomes available, it said.
As per reports there were 149 Indonesians, three Koreans, one Singaporean, one Briton and one Malaysian on board.
