Following a man who traveled from Vienna to Delhi in Air India flight was found to be positive for Covid-19, Air India has requested all his fellow passengers to follow the guidelines that were issued by the Health Ministry for the suspected cases of the corona.

Air India took to Twitter to direct the passengers to follow these guidelines."This is for the attention of passengers who flew on AI154 Vienna-Delhi of February 25. One of the passengers has tested positive for coronavirus. Please follow the protocol notified by the Ministry of Health regarding coronavirus," read the Tweet.

The travel advisory that was issued by the Union Health Ministry stated that passengers who have arrived from South Korea, Iran and Italy have to be quarantined for 14 days on arrival. In addition to that, the Ministry has also asked airports across the nation to monitor the passengers coming from the countries where the coronavirus was believed to be an outbreak.

The co-passengers of the coronavirus patients of Delhi were advised to get themselves examined for the deadly coronavirus infection.

"Sample of five such students have been taken from the school and sent to NCDC (National Centre for Disease Control) for tests. The report is expected by this evening and then the next course of action would be decided on the basis of that," Noida's Chief Medical Officer Anurag Bhargava said.
