Rajinikanth's Daughter sues Landlord

Rajinikanth's Elder Daughter Aishwarya Dhanush who is also the secretary of Sree Raghavendra Educational Society moved Madras High Court against the Ashram School Landlord Ch Venkateswaralu who locked the gates of the educational institution citing non-payment of rent and arrears.
According to the Complainant, Venkateswaralu moved a petition against Sree Raghavendra Educational Society in 2014 for rental arrears. Later, An out of court settlement took place between both the parties and the Society paid the rental arrears. No rental arrears were pending till May 2017. For the months of June and July 2017, Negotiations have been continuing on the rent and hence the rent wasn't paid to the Landlord. Venkateswaralu locked the gates of Ashram School on August 15th all of a sudden and this caused severe inconvenience to the students & management.
Aishwarya Dhanush sought Rs 5 crore as damages from Venkateswaralu for ruining the reputation of the Ashram School and also making objectionable remarks against the founder chairman Latha Rajinikanth. She demanding Rs 1 crore more as compensation for trespass. The petition will come up for hearing on August 22nd.
