Ajinkya Rahane Opens Up On Horrible Mix-Up With Virat Kohli

The Indian team led by skipper Virat Kohli lost the Adelaide Match to Australia, the first match in the Border-Gavaskar trophy. India skittled for 36, the lowest ever score of the team.
During the first innings of India, Virat Kohli lost his wicket due to a terrible mix-up with Ajinkya Rahane. India paid a huge price to the mix-up as the next batsman after Virat Kohli got out quickly.
Tracing back the mix-up, Rahane who was at the striker's end hit the ball towards the mid-off fielder. When the fielder pushed the ball back to bowler Nathan Lyon, Ajinkya Rahane realized his mistake and sent Kohli back.
But it was too late. When the ball was in the bowler's hand Virat Kohli was halfway through the pitch. The horrible mistake resulted in skipper Virat Kohli losing his wicket.
When Virat lost his wicket, India was in a quite comfortable position with 177 for 3. Soon after, Virat lost his wicket. Indian innings didn't last too long as India's first innings was completed at 244 for the loss of 10 wickets.
